PP (Polypropylene) is a thermoplastic polymer produced by the polymerization of propylene monomers. It is one of the five major general-purpose plastics (along with PE, PVC, PS, and ABS). Key Characte...
READ MOREPS Material Introduction: PS is divided into three types: GPPS, HIPS, and EPS. Currently, GPPS and HIPS are mainly produced and used in lighting, electronics, home appliances, and packaging.
Production: Styrene monomers are refined from petroleum, then polymerized into polystyrene. Polystyrene is then extruded to form PS sheets.
Advantages:
1: Good transparency; GPPS has a light transmittance of 88-92%, close to glass, and good gloss.
2: Easy to process and mold; molding temperature is around 220 degrees Celsius.
3: Good dimensional stability and rigidity; high rigidity, small dimensional changes, water absorption rate <0.1%, does not deform in humid environments.
4: Excellent electrical insulation; volume resistivity 10²⁰Ω·cm, stable high-frequency insulation, suitable for electronic components.
